The Rode WS8 is a deluxe windshield offering the effective reduction of wind noise in challenging recording conditions for the Rode NT5, NT55, and NT6 small-diaphragm condenser microphones. It also fits any other microphone with a diameter of 20mm and a capsule depth of 27mm. The WS8 windshield features an open-cell foam surround and an acoustically transparent artificial fur outer layer. Its rubber base prevents wind from entering at the rear of the mic capsule, further minimizing extraneous noise.
